Handmade Breads

Our breads are full of gracious goodness.

This means that they are handmade with love and are free from any nasties. There are no preservatives, additives or weird numbers. Who would want to eat those? Nope, not us either.

All you will find in our breads is flour + water + La Madre's mother culture + sea salt. Simple.

We add flavours via our biodynamic Kalamata olives from Mount Zero or our chemical free vine fruits from the sunny climes of Table Top Grapes. We use organic flours and patience.

Time makes our bread taste fabulous.

SWEET TREATS

We call our cake + pastry range 'Sweet Treats' because they are just that, an occasional treat full of sweetness.

We also know that when you do want to treat yourself, you want to eat as pure as possible. So we don't use strange sounding ingredients that require a chemistry degree to translate. If we can't pronounce them, we don't use them.

We use ingredients that taste as good as they sound like Inglenook Farm Milk and Green Eggs and Belgian Callebaut Chocolate. 

Edible simple goodness.

If that sounds tasty, then give us a shout and we'll chat sugar and spice and all things nice. For that is what we are made of.
