Baked fresh daily and made with a natural starter, La Madre breads are full of goodness. All we need to make bread the old fashioned way is to combine organic flour, sea salt, and filtered water. Our fabulous baker boys mould each loaf by hand and allow for a lengthy fermentation process.  No two loaves look exactly alike - but all are equally delicious!

La Madre produces four styles of bread – Sourdough, Rye Sourdough, Traditional breads and our stunning 100% Spelt Sourdough.  We add fabulous combinations of fruits, nuts and seeds to our loaves to give them a rockin' flavour kick. 

Like the sound of that? Come visit our humble shop (run by the lovely Mirjana) that is open seven days a week: Monday - Friday: 7am - late; Saturday: 7am - 1.30pm; Sunday: 12noon - late.  All of our breads are available at our shop all day but get in the know for when the loaves are hot from the oven. You can also call us on 03 5272 1727 and we'll put a loaf aside with your name on it.

La Madre Bakery is NOT a nut, seed, egg, dairy or wheat free environment and therefore our products may contain traces of these.  Due to manufacturing methods of olive processors, olive pits may occasionally be found in our products containing olives.
